The New Hope Academy Science Department offers a wide variety of courses in physical and life science. All science courses are taught in accordance with Pennsylvania and New Jersey State Science Standards.
New Hope Academy provides students with the opportunity to gain an understanding of science concepts through hands-on and minds-on investigations. Through laboratory investigations students use critical thinking skills to analyze data and solve problems, reinforcing processing skills using the scientific method. Communication skills are enhanced through the writing of lab reports, a research paper, projects and current events reading and abstract writing. Technology in the form of computer programs, interactive websites, and state of the art microscopes and probes that interface with laptop computers; further enhance the learning process. Field trips also allow students to make real world connections.

Our Two Locations
NHA operates at two locations, but as one school. There is a location in Yardley, PA and Doylestown, PA.
