Graduation Requirements

Graduation Requirements

NHA works with school districts to match the number of credits the home district requires for graduation. Generally, in grades 9-12 every student graduating shall have successfully completed 120 hours of instruction in the following 24 units of credit:

Unit of Credit Subject

4 English
4 Mathematics
4 Science
4 Social Studies
2 Arts or Humanities or both
1 Health and Physical education
5 Electives


In grades 7-8, students shall successfully complete courses of study in each of the following subjects each year:

1. English
2. Reading
3. Writing
4. Spelling
5. Mathematics
6. Science
7. Social Studies
8. Health
9. Physical Education
10. Art
11. Music

 

Students receiving AEDY services are admitted with the expectation that they will transition back to their home districts.

Our Two Locations

NHA operates at two locations, but as one school.  There is a location in Yardley, PA and Doylestown, PA.
