Objective
The goal of each therapeutic intervention is to strategize the most effective and productive way to cope with the issue at hand so the student can continue with his/her academic day in a positive fashion. We encourage and assist all children at New Hope Academy to recognize their individual qualities and talents as well as to achieve their fullest potential. New Hope Academy's counseling services, however, are not intended to serve as the sole source of a student's mental health services. Students are recommended to receive counseling support outside of the school environment.About our Counseling
Counseling services are accessible to all students on a daily basis as there is a highly qualified and trained professional on site during daily academic hours to provide individual counseling, crisis intervention, peer mentoring, as well as emotional guidance. The Counseling Team
Each member of the team is passionate about providing support and empathy for those experiencing difficulty during the conflicts inherent during adolescence. The non-judgmental stance and empathetic nature presented by the counseling team welcome each student to experience individualized acceptance, growth, and change. All members of the team engage in continued education courses and advanced training in various mental health and substance abuse issues in order to provide effective treatment and coping strategies.
