Our Performance Art department is genuinely excited about bringing out hidden talents in our students. It partners with the music and art departments to put on a drama and a musical every year, and each one is fantastic. All students are invited to participate and put their different skills to work in a variety of capacities. Our first-class productions provide the opportunity to practice teamwork, and to put individual skills together in a common pursuit to achieve something larger.

The New Hope Academy Performings Arts department perfomed "Little Shop of Horrors" at the Yardley Community Theater on April 29 and April 30, 2011. This fantasy play is about Seymour who brings a small plant into Mushnik's florist shop. Through song and dance, the plant causes ensuing mayhem by growing and feeding off special "plant food" and eventually takes over the world and the human race. |
