Thursday, May 29, 2008Bucks County Courier TimesStudents from the New Hope Academy in Lower Makefield teamed up with workers at Neshaminy State Park in Bensalem from 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesday to host a "Give Back to the Environment community service project. Community volunteers pitched in as well to help remove litter along the shoreline of the Delaware River. New Hope Academy is a specialty private high school founded in 2000 whose teacher/student ratio is 2-1 with tuition of $30,000 a year. The largest class size is five pupils, and 90 percent of the school's 35 graduates each year move on to higher education.

NHA operates at two locations, but as one school. There is a location in Yardley, PA and Doylestown, PA.
