New Hope Academy's Spring 2009 Musical

New Hope Academy is proud to present our spring musical The Wizard of Oz. This musical-fantasy play is based on the 1900's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, by L. Frank Baum. The Students of New Hope Academy have been hard at work rehearsing their lines, building the sets, and learning the musical score to ensure a great performance. Playing Dorothy in this production is Rachel Raker.  Dorothy's nemesis, the Wicked Witch, will be played by Kimberly Barber. Some supporting cast members include: Alex Grabowski, who will be playing the all powerful Oz, Brittney Lowe, performing the role of Aunt Em, and Linus Versterqvist, interpreting the role of the Scarecrow. The Tin Man and Cowardly Lion will be played by Gregg Patten and Joe Paterno respectively.
