Private Day School Granting Diplomas

New Hope Academy received its official State License in 2001.

NHA's parent company, METC ( www.metc.com ), has been in the business of education for over 25 years. Among the many services offered are courses for either make-up or original credit. Over the years, hundreds of parents commented to the METC staff and teachers on how well their student had done while at METC, how they never saw them smile like this in normal school, and wished they could keep them with us year-round. This constant feedback from parents along with the knowledge and passion we have for education led us to take on the lengthy process of obtaining a private day school license. We succeeded and opened at our start-up location in Langhorne, Bucks County, August of 2001. Interest and demand quickly exceeded our capacity. We've recently moved to a larger facility in Yardley, where we are looking forward to the 2002-2003 school year.

Dear Kathy,

Recently, I came to New Hope Academy with big dreams for my son but very little hope. My son had attended school in many different places but none had turned out to be the right fit because of his school attendance/anxiety disorder. As his mom, I knew he was intelligent and could do well, but where?? Meeting you and your staff and working with you has helped fulfill my dream that my son will graduate from high school.

When the school district recommended your facility in dealing with my son, they were definitely right. In many ways, it was METC and New Hope Academy that lifted my spirits and helped both my son and our family get through some tough days.

New Hope Academy took my son for who he was and helped him to grow. I appreciate all the hours you have already spent trying to understand, console and personally get to know him. The professionalism you demonstrated from the day we came in will never be forgotten.

Words at times seem trivial. However, today I speak for my whole family when I say "Thank You". I now know that my son will finish high school, and that all his dreams can come true. Our hearts and souls also beam from knowing wonderful people like you and your staff will truly take my son under your wings.

Gratefully,

Marie Farrell
