Temporary or Permanent Placement

We at NEW HOPE Academy are committed to serving the needs of the educational community. We are open to accepting students temporarily (until a long term placement is found) or, until they are eligible to return to their school. We also welcome long-term placements and extended school year (ESY) students.

Flexible Scheduling

Many students at NEW HOPE Academy have a schedule tailored to their individual needs. We recognize the fact that most teenagers are nocturnal and have trouble waking in the morning. So we have a later start to our school day. On the other hand, some of our students have after school jobs and need to finish the school day earlier. We are flexible with all of our scheduling and we're willing to work out a schedule just for you.

Less Peer Pressure

Because of the unique environment at New Hope Academy, peer pressure is significantly reduced. The one-on-one atmosphere introduces more adult presence into the students' daily activities and offers less opportunity for distraction.

Monthly Support Meetings

Our goal at New Hope Academy is to keep the parent, student, and school on the same page, same way, same day. We encourage parents to schedule meetings with administrators and teachers to get constant feedback on their child's progression both personally and academically.

Consistant Communication

We regularly contact parents to update them on social and interactive behavior, homework, tests, cooperation, respect for authority, peers, and self. All of these factors are important to the complete education of the child and parental involvement and support is a key factor to student success.
